We strive to follow Jesus together through studying Scripture, praying and loving our neighbors, which helps us to dig our roots deep in Jesus and connect with one another.
Nexus Student Ministries is home to our middle and high school students, and we strive to make that home a welcoming place for all. We seek to live out our vision to Follow, Connect, Make - and we do that through a focus on biblical teaching, disciple-making small groups, and outreach opportunities. Stop by the Student Center for Sunday School, Wednesday Night Youth Group, or during office hours just to say hello. We would also love to see you at one of our regularly scheduled hangouts or annual retreats.
Sunday School | 9:00 am
Join us for worship and a variety of elective opportunities to study God’s Word. After, students are encouraged to attend the 10:45 am church worship service with their families. High school juniors and seniors are encouraged to get involved in a church ministry; contact Pastor Ron to get started.
NEXUS Wednesday Night Youth Group
Teaching & Small Groups: 7:00 - 8:45 pm (hangout time 6:00-7:00 pm)
Join us in the Student Center at church for a time of worship, teaching and small group discussion dedicated to the study of God’s Word. This is a time to have fun, play games, build community, worship, and learn what God has to say from the Bible.
This year’s curriculum is on Deuteronomy. We will be studying the entire book throughout the school year. Books are just $5 and can be purchased on Wednesday nights.
Retreats:
Retreats are overnighters and for all middle school and high school students. The Back to School Retreat is over Labor Day Weekend. The Winter Retreat is over President’s Day Weekend. Retreats are designed to be a concentrated time for the students to grow closer to God and closer together. There is worship, teaching and tons of fun!
