Throughout the year, we offer mid-week Bible studies for men and women from every age and stage of life. Our studies range in difficulty and outside time commitment.
Meeting regularly for teaching, accountability, and friendship builds our personal commitment to follow Jesus passionately, connects us in mutual community, and makes us into committed disciples. Registration is required for most Bible studies—use the button below to register for any of the following studies:
Thursdays
Men’s Bible Study | Seeing and Savoring Jesus Christ (John Piper)
THURSDAY MORNINGS | 6-7 AM | IN ROOM 213
NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED!
Led by Gabe Moore
As we let John Piper's book guide discussion, this study uses the Bible as the authoritative portrait of Jesus, saturated with Scripture to help readers "see" Him as He is depicted in God's Word. As we study together, we will make a distinction between merely looking at the biblical accounts of Jesus (seeing) and truly beholding His divine worth and beauty (savoring). Savoring Jesus leads to a deeper satisfaction, which in turn transforms believers into His image. This transformation empowers them to fight sin and persevere through difficulties.
You can get a free digital copy of the book HERE, or order a paper copy from a variety of websites. Each man is encouraged to have his own copy—this will help you contribute to our weekly discussions.
Right doctrine leads to right living—gospel truth always produces gospel-shaped lives.

BI-WEEKLY, FRIDAY MORNINGS | 10:30 AM | IN ROOM 214

PART ONE (5 lessons): Through Psalms we learn about God—His attributes, what pleases and displeases Him, His relationship to the righteous and the wicked, and His revelation of the future concerning Messiah, salvation, and judgment. In Psalms 1–22, we learn how blessed we are who are in right relationship to Him, that we respond to Him in worship.
SCHEDULE: 1/9 (lesson 1), 1/23 (lesson 2), 2/6 (lesson 3), 2/20 (lesson 4), 3/6 (lesson 5)
PART TWO (4 lessons): There is much to be learned from the Psalms about the Lord and our relationship with Him. In Psalms 23–41, we learn about waiting on the Lord and worshiping Him, about righteousness and the fear of the Lord, and about dealing with sin. You’ll practice a pattern for studying the Psalms, so that you can continue to study them on your own.
SCHEDULE: 3/20 (lesson 1), 4/3 (lesson 2), 4/17 (lesson 3), 5/1 (lesson 4)
